What is the best year of residency to get married? PGY1-4 sounds dangerous and increases the risk of a woman putting you into debt early on. PGY5-7 sounds safer as a women only has to put up with you a few years before attending status.

Why did Al-Mefty move to MGH after spending time in Arkansas? Was it to get his sons into the fellowship? Also, are MGH surgeons considered "big names"?

Al mefty was let go. he didn't leave because he wanted to...didn't immediately go to Boston either. Yasargil stayed at the academic center.
