Career advice
#21
I grew up in a coal mining town with some friends. We made rockets to pass the time and dream of escaping. It would get us into trouble with the conservative adults, especially when there was a fire they blamed on our rocket. We eventually proved our innocence, and we won a big science fair. That high took us all the way to college and then NASA.

I became disillusioned, realizing how much work was catalyzed by Nazi scientists, and decided to pursue neurosurgery instead. I am now aiming for vascular so I can continue to chase the dream of being an attending without ever actually becoming one.
