Do any of the programs respond with Rank to Match or on-track to match, as a response to LOI stating that they are number 1?

Word of advice from someone who has seen it before: tell your number one they are number one. There is no point telling anyone else “I’m ranking you high”. Just the number one. Similarly, DO NOT place weight into a program telling you they ranked you to match. I have seen programs lie. Simply rank where you want to go, and let the cards fall. Have a mentor reach out to your number one to confirm, it holds a lot more validity than your email. Lastly, it’s a small field, don’t lie to a program and say you ranked them first when you didn’t, people talk.
