how much do student organizations matter?

does it matter if you're in 3 versus 10? feels like I didn't do much compared to other applicants from my school. application is otherwise strong and I do have hobbies I can speak about.

I don't think it matters. From what I can tell research, med school grades, Step 2, sub-I performance, and being an actual normal person farrrrr outweigh whether you are in 3 to 50 student organizations.
