Not impressed by the faculty there, especially the newer faculty. The place is a sinkhole.

1 guy he left to “become an ophthalmologist” but got humiliation, intimidation and abuse before getting burned out and “resigning.” The other he left to pursue career things SLU didn’t offer and SLU’s leadership also put him thru reportable abuse, humiliation and threatened his career. Reportable offenses. Do you blame him for leaving this place? ACGME should shut down this place.

Can we stop talking about this irrelevant program already? To me, it may as well not exist. We had a graduate come as one of our fellows a few years ago…absolute disaster. Still talked about to this day. We don’t even look at graduates from this program after that.

SLU with multiple violation with ACGME and under investigation. Talks about losing funding given merger with private company few years ago which has no interest in resident education and simply looking for slaves.

lol as if most universities actually care about education and not having slaves. If you think the universities actually care about your education and not what you mean to their bottom line you’re naive. How else do you expect the attendings to run two rooms generating double the revenue for the hospital while getting paid half their private counter parts.
