definitely clothes!! Angel

to be honest, dress to impress. I wore a suit but many others wore sports jackets with slacks.

don't dress up like a bum-->bottomline

Shirt, and pants (not jeans), with comfy leather shoes should be fine. You can add a sweater or a sports jacket/blazer if it is cold. No ties or suits, unless it is one of those places where the dinner is with faculty and residents together (even then, some of those places specify what is the dress code for the dinner). Remember some of the residents will be attending the dinner in scrubs, coming right from the hospital, so you don't want to be over dressed with your future co-workers.

unless stated otherwise the dinner is always "business casual" ... just look that definition up online if you don't know it already.

Blazer or sports jacket. No jeans no sneakers. My observations from 3 interviews.
