very interesting. I believe I met the first author on a few interviews during the interview trail. nice guy. would love to discuss this study in person with him

pretty cool study. I haven't met Flanagan, but I did meet Jahangiri on the trail. it seems like this group published another interesting paper about NIH funding in neurosurgery. looking forward to reading that one as well. abstract is below

CCF applicants are ballers. These studies are cool but it's hard to see how they'll change clinical practice. I guess they're useful for satisfying our curiosity.

CCF applicants are definitely awesome.was fortunate to have worked with 1 during my research year. I'll also give a shout out to UCSF MSTP applicants(like the second author)

its mitch berger's research group and so it has to be an interesting study. Granted, it doesn't add anything to the clinical breadth of neurosurgery, it does tell us about the trends in the field.
