Peds
#1
Not surprised that peds is rarely discussed on this site, but still curious. Who are the big names or rising young faculty in peds? Best fellowship programs in your opinion? Future of peds in terms of academics vs. private practice?

Thanks

Top fellowships in my opinion would be: Boston Children's, CHOP, Texas Children's, Children's LA, Riley Children's, Children's Atlanta, Seattle Children's. First three are the top 3, the rest are very comparable regarding volume. You want a big academic hospital that is the only pediatric neurosurgery provider in the city, or preferably the whole state.
