It's just leveled out. There's not much of a difference between 245-250.

step scores dont matter once you meet a threshold which is usually 225-230 for most programs. top notch programs may set cut offs at 240. they are usually soft cutoffs that are overcome by phone calls from mentors and chairs

what does solidly mean?
if you have a 241 or about, you have 90% chance of matching. check charting outcomez

It means all you have to do with a 245/250+ Is just not fuck up.
Don’t be weird. Don’t get a bad letter. Don’t do zero research. And you’re fine. 230s- low 240s you still have to separate yourself in some way.
