Is the ut Austin program good? Everything in texas seems malignant and Backwards wondering if ut Austin is any different?

I think it's the jury is still out on UT Austin. They just took their first resident last year. My bet is that they will be the best program in the state long-term, but that is a ways away. Having Nick Barbaro as the chair is a good first start.
