how do you know? only strong applicants post here in this forum skewing everything
I helped screen apps this year. PD said that the average step 1 for interviewed applicants is 249. Out of the 15 I looked through like half had a 260 with all honors and great personalized letters, not just the stock "XYZ did a rotation with us and the residents liked them." Not a chance I'd be able to hang with these kids 4 years ago. Huge props to you because the field will be in great hands!
wow thats crazy. did you guys have a hard cutoff for applications?
Yea it was 240 except for home students and sub Is who were recommended

I am here at USF right now...they have not sent out interview invites yet according to residents and Dr. Vale

I strongly disagree. Seeing that I have an interview scheduled in eras as of this morning.

I too have an interview scheduled on ERAS.
This is awkward...

I have no idea tbh. It’s something that our PD sets within the ERAS filter. If it turns out that there are too many apps for people to screen in a reasonable timeframe then maybe he’ll raise it to 245 but I think we’ve been OK for now.
