It’s possible to get 1 or 2 more from trickle down when people start canceling and shuffling interviews. At this point all you can do is crush the interviews you’ve got and make the best of them. Best of luck!

In my experience yes for lower tier programs, no for mid to high tier.

There is a significant influx of applicants from schools that don't really produce neurosurgeons in addition to power houses like Michigan and Case and Columbia
Indiana= 10
Miami= 8
UCSF= 5
Wayne St= 7
Rutgers= 11
MCG= 4

That being said, it may be hard to acquire new interviews at this stage.

Same here with 4 interviews. I'm under no delusion that there will be a sudden deluge of interviews, but hoping that once applicants start to forfeit unwanted interview spots, programs will move down the wait lists (assuming I'm on one). All I can do at this point is do the best I can with the interviews I have. Good luck guys.

Does anyone know when the interview day ends for University of South Florida?

No but just cancelled the interview for 11/22. Free for all. Go grab it on ERAS

Miami has a great program and has its students publishing lime crazy with the department.  UCSF is UCSF.  Rutgers has put more students into neurosurgery residency than anyone except for P+S over the past decade.  Please get your facts straight when posting

Rutgers putting out more students in the last decade to Neurosurgery doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t mean they are excellent students. Odd couple are. They just have two campuses with tons of students
