i am a senior resident at a midwest program. I agree with this statement - chair is more important for faculty recruitment etc, but at the end of the day, a strong resident-centric PD and good group of stable residents is what I would look out for on the trail/sub-internships.

that being said. the forum is not anonymous, IP addresses can be tracked. there is so much garbage being posted here like the last few posts. keep it civil.

Manish aghi big favorite for UCSF and UCLA. I ALSO hear he’s considered for UPenn state.
