FUCK THIS SHIT! ABNS canceled the primary exam until further notice. Less than 24 hours notice.

This is ridiculous. They are asking us to not attend the exam we have been preparing for, and instead, go to a much more hazardous environment (with regards to contracting the corona virus). We are not bankers or graphic designers, if we don't attend the exam tomorrow, we will not be working remotely from home. We will probably be in the OR, ED or ICU dealing with real patients instead. They can't cancel the exam hours before it, without any justification! Public schools aren't cancelled. Many of our states are not high-risk states. This is a neurosurgery boards exam with 5-8 candidates taking the exam (max!), this isn't a USMLE boards exam with dozens/hundreds of medical students, or an NBA match or a commercial flight. This is an ill-informed decision. We are physicians, we should know better.

Not only that but it completely fucks peoples schedules too. People have been preparing for this day specifically for a long time and to change it with less than 24 hours notice is ridiculous.

And now they are going to pick a random day in May and lets just hope you werent already post call/off/on a vacation thats been planned for months. Our schedules arent exactly the most flexible.
