Haglund is still there but I think that the plan is that one of the assistant PDs will take over the role and he'll stay on faculty, working more on the surgical autonomy and international neurosurgery programs that he started.

What are the recommended question banks beside ABNS? Any great ones? The web is filled wit those Q/A books but not sure which ones are the best

I cant remember the names anymore, but I remember one was associated with each of the two main text books people use. They Qbanks are all relatively decent. I think its not necessarily which you do, but just to do as many questions as you possibly can. One of the newer question books came out in the last couple of years also has an associated online Qbank that I really liked.

High profile attendings will occasionally interview at these types of places. When you advance in residency you may become closer with these attendings, and you may have a conversation of a beer or 2 that involves what offers they've received.
