UW, NYMC and Geisinger are solid as well. Obviously Buffalo, Barrow, Jeff, Sinai, Tennessee are perennial powerhouses for endovascular.

Lol, USC and Miami aren't even on the radar for endovascular. Even in Los Angeles USC is a distant third behind UCLA and Cedars.

Nice try USC resident. TBH didn't even know you guys had an endovascular fellowship.

UCLA is the origin of coiling:

Like most discussions on this site, arguing about which endovascular fellowship is best is pretty silly, more so than a discussion of which open vascular fellowship is best. From a purely technical training perspective, it’s kind of like arguing which McDonalds in your city is better than the others. I am endovascular trained, thus am in no way dumping on endovascular as a specialty, but anybody can do web, pipeline, etc. Everybody does strokes. The reason there are so many endo fellowships relative to open is that it’s not that hard to argue you can offer comprehensive training. The equivalent of high-flow bypass in endovascular is probably AVM-embolization for cure, and if you really want to do that you probably have to go to France as most US neurosurgeons will just take it out or gamma knife it. Some fellowships are more academically oriented, e.g., Buffalo, Toronto, and others, but if you’re just looking for training I wouldnt worry too much about which fellowship you get.
