Agree. I highly doubt an 100 word essay on why I would be an asset to your program is going to tell you more about me than my CV and personal statement that I literally paid money for you to evaluate…

This is an awful thing for programs to do applicants. Do they make you pay an additional fee like they do for med school? As a resident, I apologize for this extra hoop with no value programs are inflicting on applicants. I hope they will rethink this and eliminate it.
