Yes, Losner would leave his chairmanship to work for that guy.

Oh and definitely possible that Aghi, who is actual chair material, will leave UCSF to work for that guy. 

Anyone who doesn't realize that UCSD is done is stupid. I give this guy a year before UCSD wises up and quietly replaces him with whatever qualified internal attending is left to clean up the mess.
