My friend did a second look there and apparently everyone is happy, does good research, and charlotesville is a great city?

Why the bad rep???

Chamberlain found Hitler to be a great guy. Surely things are always what they appear on the surface.

It's a great program if you can handle the stress and high expectations. People like to complain because it's tougher than other programs. The bad rep comes from the fact that a lot of residents get fired/quit.

And from the fact that residents there sexually assault others. So you know, there are valid reasons for the bad rep.

Hmm.  Until recently, it has only been men in that program..

Maybe a confound is that female applicants don't rank this program highly because it isn't conducive to family life/relationships the same way a program like Pitt isn't.
