UCSF lost a resident?

If the UIC kid, then he deserves it. He worked at both UCSF and UCSD for years doing research and published tons with the spine groups though most of spine guys pubs are crap

How is this nosy?  Was it a clinical competency issue?  Was it a malignant environment forcing him out?  I realize it is a less than desirable subject for those involved to discuss, but allegations of him being fired are a little concerning.

if you have to think so much about ucsf being the right choice then don't bother applying. but I would encourage doing a subI even if you're mildly serious about ucsf. the resident has psychological issues and was deemed unfit for neurosurgery after a few near miss errors

its known to be malignant but simultaneously the best training program in the country. The resident probably gassed out. It's difficult to make judgments on a program based on one person.

This is true.  One here, another there. The only way to identify a pattern is to question the underlying reason.
