No one's rank list is crazy. There is no universal hierarchy of programs.

I did too. My LA list was actually Cedars > UCLA > USC, although cedars vs ucla was kind of a toss-up

100%. UCLA/Cedars have been putting USC to shame for years.

Why UTSW so low?

PP here.

I ranked all Texas programs on the bottom of my list TBH. Baylor is right above UTSW in 4th to last. I realized of the season I actually had a lot of strong concerns for the region and social climate I would train in.

To other poster, Cedars residents rubbed me wrong way in interview in the way they talked about other programs, especially the other LA programs as though they were below them. Couldn’t tell if it was some inferiority complex or what. Btw no one had asked them to compare other programs, they went on several rants out of nowhere in the interview and the socials.

It’s interesting seeing how programs that were pariahs with like 10+ DNR/last rank on the 2020-2021 spreadsheet are some of the more popular ones on this years (Rush for example). That much
Variance one year to the next?

Perhaps programs took notes on what May have turned off applicants in interviews last year and made changes this year.
