I would say both programs have flaws… but Jacksonville has recently shown greater innovation growth. Resident culture is much more friendly, and it has a better feeling of camaraderie. It can’t be compared to MN, though.

3/6 u.s. trained residents left the program in one year, and was back-filled with international grads
theres no surgical training (all private practice type faculty), but tons of free time for residents. not much in terms of research, iirc Quinones is the only one who has a brain tumor lab.
