I heard they don’t respect post-call days. Can you have a life at this program?

Yes you can

It is not uncommon for a junior to not leave county for several days in a row. So yes you can have a life but only every once in a while.

Who does GBMs at USC?

Gabe Zada is the person that primarily does skull base tumors at USC.
I don’t think there is big GBM person there.
It seems like most gliomas in LA either go to UCLA or Cedars.

GBMs mostly handled by Zada, Chen, and now Attenello. Giannotta, Zada, Russin do most of the skull base.

And not sure where you're getting the idea that county residents don't leave for days at a time. You don't really have a postcall at county but it's usually because you're operating. You don't really have to deal with scut when you're post. The worst I've seen is a 40hr call/post but most of the time the juniors are don't in the afternoon or early evening at the latest.
