Cleveland Clinic. They're strong in every subspecialty (maybe except for vascular and peds). Especially strong in functional, skull base and spine. It's been consistently improving as a residency program although the neurosurgical service has always been top notch. You could say OSU was on par as a training program when they had Rezai and Governale. OSU might be better if you're thinking about peds.

If you’re looking for research and academics then probably Cleveland clinic, but if you’re looking for a ton of operating then probably OSU. OSU seems really strong in cancer and skull base as well as vascular. Their spine practice is pretty diverse.

The spine program at CCF is one of the best in the nation. Benzel and Steinmetz have written the essentials for spine surgery. You can also do a spine fellowship enfolded in residency at CCF which is a huge plus if you're thinking about doing spine surgery.

The residency at CCF is not on par with UH/Case Western or Ohio State. Really no discussion. Fellowships are a different story.

You're entitled to your own opinion but you'd be hard pressed to find people who support this. In the state of Ohio it is very clear that CCF> OSU> Cinci=CWRU in terms of neurosurgery residencies.

This has to be a joke right? In terms of Hospital system, sure. In terms of operative training, as wrong as it gets.

And what makes you premier???  You did well on a multiple choice test that has a SE of 10 points, and where less than 5% of questions makes a 20 point difference.  Get a life kid.  Or is that you kissed the department's ass for a year to get a bunch of middle author publications.  You aren't premier, you are far from it.  To anyone else reading this, please stay humble.  Some of this are doing this for patients and it really irritates me to see pinheads like this.
