I wouldn't fully dismiss case reports, however.... if that is all that you have, you will be criticized for it.

How do review papers look compared to case reports? I've heard basic science > clinical papers > reviews > case reports

pretty accurate. a mix of all is good. dont have all reviews and case reports.thats a red flag at my program
