Grades :  top 10% of class
Research : (neurosurgery related) : 1 chart review, 1 case report,
(endovascular stuff, not specifically nsurg) 2 Abstracts, 1 poster, 1 first author pub

I go to a mid tier midwest state school


Aside from more good grades, LORs etc. do I need more nsurg specific research?

What programs are realistic for me to match at?

Do most residents buy a house or rent during residency? For those who bought, what price range did you buy?

Are there any turf wars that are currently occurring or some that might occur in the future? Which pose the biggest threat to neurosurgery? On a scale from 1-10, how safe is neurosurgery from their turf being yanked from beneath them?

Anyone know why the average has gone done in the latest report on Match 2018?
