Anyone know of any programs that offer an enfolded spine fellowship? The only one I've come across is Louisville so far. All the others want someone that has completed residency training.

250+ Step 1. Recently started 3rd year, growing interest in NSG (the more I do rotations that arent surgical, the more I'm pushed this way). I'm not totally committed though.
The reason I'm posting this thread is because I am recently getting interested in the field and have ZERO research. I've got 1 unrelated poster presentation and one unrelated basic science paper in press (of which I'm a middle author). I'm worried it's already getting too late to get enough research to be competitive.
Another detail regarding my situation, because I know it's important - my school is a mid-tier program with a home NSG program and very receptive faculty.

Why has Sinai taken so many grads from Einstein? (4 in a total of 14). I'm surprised Mocco took that many. Is this a common occurrence?

How many places does the average applicant apply to? My step 1 and research are a bit below average and trying to get an idea on how much to spend on application season.

Any recommendations on which chapters of Greenberg would be particularly high yield to read in preparation for sub-i's? (I don't have time to read the entire volume, just wanting to get a good basis of info then I'll continue reading while on rotations!)

Anyone know which which institutions you need a car/Uber/public transit at to get between hospitals on sub-internship rotations? UW and Miami have been mentioned in the past
