I'm ranking every program I interviewed at. None of them were so malignant that I would rather go unmatched. I thought the general rule was to rank everywhere?

Same. Maybe I'll get fired, still had a higher probability of becoming a neurosurgeon in that scenario than if I didn't match

Hopkins and MGH place more ppl into academics than NW. They also have more prominent faculty with the possible exception of tumor. Tier is less important than what you want and who you want to be.
