Is there such a thing as too strong of an applicant that low tier schools won’t extend you interviews?

An MD-PhD with 10 pubs, 260 and AOA from Harvard probs isn't getting the priority invite from Kentucky

i think that's what's wrong, i'm too good for these interviews

For programs with limited research, being an MD-PhD is a filter out.
