As of last week he "stepped down" as chair, interim chair is the current chair of neurology. They are also only taking 1 resident this year. All of this is part of the merger happening between IU and Goodman Campbell. (https://www.ibj.com/articles/71047-iu-he...dependence)

there will be soon. We don't have too many senior and capable attendings that can make it as chair. Most likely scenario will be external chair

It shouldn't. pretty stable program overall. Current PD was previous chair and has remained anchor so no need to worry unless he also leaves

Will there be a search at Wayne or are they giving the position to the interim? Seems a long time to go without launching a search. Or has the search been launched?
