Interview Invites 2019-2020
Just wondering-I’ve only gotten 9 interviews scheduled +1 waistlist including aways. Does anyone know what is considered good at this time? I’m honestly not the best applicant due to scores but I’m good clinically so my letters are good. I’m not expecting a lot because I know I’ll be weeded out but just wondering. Please no trolls. This is a genuine question. Thanks everyone Smile

I did...emailed them a couple of times though

Did they send you a single date invite? I sent another email asking if my spot was confirmed and still no response

I got a single-date invite, and haven't heard anything.  I had a friend get a response when they asked for an alternate date.

One of my attendings worked knows an attending there so he called them and told me that they are sending invites and if you have a later date you’re considered to be a more competitive applicant. His son has a date in December

I just interviewed at UConn this past Saturday. Never got a confirmation, just an email the night before the interview with some more information on the program. But all the information you need is in the interview offer document.

how was it?

How many residency spots do they have?

Just 1 spot

If you're doing a late sub-I, what's suggested in terms of getting/sending a LOR? Bring a copy to interviews you go on?

But that discloses where you’re else your interviewing to one of your sub-i’s...that feels a little tabboo
