Hi all,

I have been looking at this thread for some time, just trying to find out when interviews are coming out. This is my first post, but with all the conflicting information in this thread in terms of interview invites, I was curious what is the appropriate amount of interview invites to have at this stage of the game? I have 5 currently. I won't share stats (suffice it to say I'm average in some areas, strong in others, weak in others still,) but I'm honestly not sure if I need to be relaxed or very anxious and exploring other options at this point. Any insight from my future colleagues would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hey i dont want to freak you out or anything, but since you asked i only know the # of interviews for a handfull of people, they range from middle to low top tier candidate, and weal have >11 interviews to give you a sense. Idk if thats helpful but its the truth. Gl!

Did u interview at some of your Sub-Is?

I've heard of quite a bit of people with very few interviews. It might be a result of this year's higher competition/more applicants. I don't think anyone will be able to precisely predict. It will depend on how good relationship you have with those few programs and if any of them will rank you highly.

yeah - whats the point in having 10 interviews if your personality ranks you at the bottom of each? if you feel like trolling, that probably is where you deserve to be

2018 Stats

225 positions

310 applicants: 235 US Seniors (89% matched), 11 US IMG (0% Matched), 32 Non-US IMg (31% Matched). 

IDK what happened with those 33 that were not included (235 + 11 + 32 = 277)
