Is it worth updating programs at the top of our list about published papers since ERAS went out? As in, will that in any way affect ranking

Would someone speak to the commuting in Los Angeles? Especially commuting to Harbor-UCLA? And just the overall impact of commuting on lifestyle?

I lived in LA while working with the department. The commute depends on the time of day on the 405. Unlike east coast traffic where we get gridlocked in rush hour, on the west coast it still moves even when high volume. Commute for me between Ronald Reagan and Harbor-UCLA was around 35-40 min. If you live in santa monica or somewhere between the two locations getting to and from work is a breeze

With this year virtual interviews, it may be more tricky to really get a feel of the program...any recs on who to reach out for advice on ranking programs? Is home program a good idea? conflict of interest?
