The noise woke the woman who then alerted her two sons who then went to the front of the house where they encountered the bandits.Holding cutlasses the bandits announced a hold-up and demanded the family hand over cash and jewelry.Police said one of the men ordered the family into a room and began chopping and beat the mother and her sons while the other ransacked the house.
