I can't tell if this is serious. But yes, lets please stop talking about UCSD -- it's making me too sad for those poor residents stuck there lol. 

Dr. Berger is an accomplished man but damn his residents are miserable too! I suppose they're participating in some more delayed gratification though. They come out with A+++++ prospects. 

Are there rumors he's leaving UCSF?

Disagree strongly. UCSD is a very strong program: great residents, great faculty mentors, great basic science affiliations with SALK + the Scripps Research Institute and the main UC campus, great community of hard working and happy people.

The amount of publicity UCSD is getting is hilarious. Very strong program that will only get stronger.
