UCLA isn't even the top program in LA, why would one brag about that?  I mean he matched, I suppose that's an achievement, but still.

UCLA is a great match because it is a sought after location at a brand name medical center. Although it isn't a top program per say it still attracts people based on name and previous glory the same way programs such as Brigham and UVA does.
