Find a resident has a PGY2 neurosurgery opening in "mid-atlantic" USA. Does anyone know which program is listed as having the opening? It does not mention which program unless you pay their 75 dollar fee.

Currently deciding between these two locations to rotate in August. I'm unfamiliar with the reputation of these two programs (and southeast programs in general) and would welcome any advice

Hello! I am a current M1 wrapping up my second semester right now. I have shadowed some residents in both clinic and the OR but I still feel like i don’t really know enough about being a neurosurgeon to commit fully yet. I shadowed for almost 12 hours on my off days but maybe this wasn’t enough for me. I wanted to ask what are some things that I could do to get a better sense of pursuing neurosurgery and what worked for you in finding neurosurg as your fit.

Hey guys!
I hope all is well, I was able to secure away rotations at Buffalo and Pitt, does anyone have any advice on how to kill them? I need to do well to make up for lacking parts of my applications (per the advice of students on here).
A bit about me- HP almost all rotations except surgery and OBwhich were a P(evals were all H, shelf kills me), 225 step and 14 pubs with posters/presentations (8 written)
I appreciate all the advice, you guys always have words of wisdom here so anything is great! I know that I need to kill step 2 so I'm taking that before I start my away rotations.
