Thumbs Down Future
Posted by: Guest - 03-16-2019, 04:19 PM - Forum: General interest - Replies (1)

Hi,
I’m aware that this is not the ideal place to post this due to bias, but I was wondering which fields of medicine are the most future-proof, in other words, which fields of medicine will maintain where the are for the next few decades both in terms of the amount of procedures they cover, and the salary they maintain?
Thank you very much

^^mostly interested in surgical subspecialties and IM sub specialties

  Home department

It seems as though a good amount of people matched at their home institution.

Any luck or success stories from folks who matched without a home department?

What helped you?

Congrats to all who matched. Wasnt in the cards for me this year. Good stats, never had an issue with interviewing. Home PD just as surprised as me. Ive heard this happens but I feel so alone.

Anyone else out there not match before?

  Ochsner in New Orleans?
Posted by: Guest - 03-10-2019, 02:23 AM - Forum: Sub-internships - Replies (2)

Anyone have any idea what the Ochsner sub-i in New Orleans, Louisiana that is now on VSAS is all about? Is this just another LSU-affiliated site, or a new program entirely?

OP here: my mistake, I meant Tulane-affiliated, not LSU.

Why are you banning IP addresses willy nilly. How does my home IP address get blocked when I haven't posted anything in weeks/months.
