Did anyone getting a Miami interview get a confirmation email? Sent them my date preferences but have not received anything from them since.

Such a ridiculous system. Why don't programs create a rank list of the students they'd most like to interview and then send out exactly the same number of invitations as they have spots? If someone doesn't take a spot you can just send more invites.

That way programs are actually interviewing who they most want to, instead of who checks their email faster.

I received my interview invite much later than when first posted on here so I don’t think they gave out more interviews than spots. Should receive confirmation by tomorrow.
