I don't know why that should affect anything. I think it's a given that every applicant wants to match at the best program that chooses to interview them, but ultimately programs need to rank us just as much as we need to rank them; playing it close to your chest isn't going to change where you sit on their rank list. I would love to know who else is highly considering the same programs that I am

I think the excel sheet is crowdsourcing this data, but don't know how reliable it is and wouldn't make any decisions off of it

I had really hoped that there would be a lot more weirdos on the trail. On interview #20 and I'm happy and frustrated to say that 99% of the people on these zoom meetings would be great co-residents/ I wouldn't even be mad if they got the spot over me. May the best man or woman win!

Would love to hear from residents what your take on the applicants has been via Zoom. How are you gauging fit?

It is certainly much harder to gauge fit on ZOOM, but red flags will still stand out. Otherwise, we just talk to the residents and faculty at your home program.

Yep I've definitely noticed a pretty cool crowd of applicants that I want to drink with that also happen to be ridiculously impressive.
