I think we should work on the Wiki page. It's exhausting going through all these program websites, trying to decipher what the program is like. It would be good to get a summary from people who have rotated/interviewed so all this info is on one place. Quality control = consistency. I.e. we'll know if someone is trolling if their experience doesn't match up with anyone elses.

How is everyone researching programs? I've been looking at the Sub I forum here. Maybe I should look up UncleHarvey archives?

Right now, U Miami, Albert Einstein and Ol' Miss are listed as incomplete registration on ERAS, i.e. can't apply to them.

Will these open before Friday?

so it turns out two of the four letter writers(whom I requested a letter 6 weeks ago) will be turning in my letter after sept 15. In terms of the round of interviews  that go shortly after sept 15, will they not consider me if I Only have 2 letters in?

Worth it to write specific personal statements for your top programs? Does it matter?

I'm currently an M2 doing research in another surgical sub-specialty, but recently have been more interested in NS. My question is when it comes down to apply, how much is non-NS research weighed against NS? I am a little apprehensive about switching over right now because I have a chance at a few first author publications in this other specialty, so I'm wondering if it would be wise to wait until 3rd year after Step I to try to make NS connections. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Would anyone happen to have a list of each program's interview dates (if they are announced yet)? I know that SNS has one on their website for 2016-2017 season, but haven't seen a new one yet.

If submission is on the 15th, when is the earliest we should expect interviews to roll out? The following Monday?
