Does anyone know what slots (in civilian residencies) were taken up in the military match?

I've heard MGH and Stanford described as gentlemen's programs, where there may be lower clinical volume/workload and greater focus on academic pursuits, particularly basic science.
Are there other programs that fit this bill?

Has anyone tried writing love letters to programs for interviews? Or for ranking? Any success?

What’s more important?
Getting to do cases largely solo, or watching a master do most of the case while they walk you through it?
Obviously a mix is ideal but if you had to choose more one than the other, which would you prioritize?

| Including abstracts on ERAS |

If an applicant has a ridiculous number of abstracts (>40) with a large number of peer reviewed pubs (>20), would it be better to just avoid listing any abstracts at all in order to avoid watering down the entire research section on ERAS?

Just wanted to throw some thoughts out there, not looking for rationalization, so have some chill.
Number 1 and basically only: When the interviewer has not read your app and starts off with, what questions do you have about this program. Bruh, I specialize in BSing, I can smell it a mile away. We're asking for one half-day of yours to help determine who your residents will be. We've prepared an app, been selected, and have traveled to your doorstep. Read the frickin app.
There are many programs where it's clear my interviewers have read my app, and take an interest in me. It does so much to my rank list. Thank you guys!

Does AOA play a big role in determining interview invites?
