Does anyone think its too old to finish residency at 38 years old? I just came to face with this reality and I'm having second thoughts about pursuing NSG, help.

does having completed a pgy1 (prelim surgery) offer an advantage to matching in NS?
Would he have more options as in matching into either PGY1 or PGY2(depending on vacancies available) of neurosurgery?
Ive heard of someone who had completed a pre-residency who managed to match into a PGY2 NSG, as he had also finished a PGY1 prelim surgery year before.
Not sure if this is true now.

I logged out of the site and don't recall my password. I've submitted a password retrieval request twice through the login button, but it doesn't seem to be going to my email - is there something else I should do? I have already checked my clutter folders.

Can someone give an idea of the best places to train for the different subspecialties? Not worried about the research part, wanna be in the OR as much as possible.is there a place to go if you wanna do tumor vs endo vs all the other fields? is there a big difference and if not, where can I go to be in the OR all day for the best surgical training?

Hi guys
Hope you're all doing well, and congratulations again to all those who recently matched.
I was hoping for some feedback regarding your user experience, namely with page load times. We had a pretty significant increase in server load last Friday, peaking at 100 active users at one instance. Did anyone notice slowing or page load issues?
The server the site on is dedicated and has a high bandwidth connection with good peering. I personally did not notice any issues, but wanted to see how it performed for you guys.

Do residents/attending join and/or contribute to the ACS, or is it just for general surgeons.
